The artists responsible for the opening and ending theme songs for the ongoing Shangri-La Frontier anime’s second season’s latest cour each posted music videos for their songs on their official YouTube channels.Japanese singer and rapper Awich provides the opening theme song “Frontiers.” As her first anime theme song work, the song released digitally on January 5. Immediately after the 39th episode, where the song was featured for the second time, a collaboration music video composed entirely of footage from the anime was released on her official YouTube channel.

Japanese rock band CVLTE performs the ending theme song “realitYhurts,” which released digitally on January 6. The band was formed in 2017 and has collaborated with a wide variety of international artists. They have been selected for Apple Music’s “UP NEXT JAPAN” and Spotify’s “RADAR: Early Noise.”The music video, which intersects reality and the unreal like a game space, was directed by Takuya Oyama (VANLI), known for his music video works for Dizzy Sunfist and MY FIRST STORY.

Toshiyuki Kubooka (Handyman Saitou in Another World) directs Shangri-La Frontier at studio C2C, with series composition by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime), character designs by Ayumi Kurashima (Devilman Crybaby) and music by MONACA (NieR:Automata Ver1.1a).
