Ahead of an April 2025 broadcast in omnibus format, the official accounts for Japanese diesel engine and heavy machinery manufacturer Yanmar’s five-part commercial anime project, titled MIRU: Paths to My Future, today revealed a new video announcing “Ai-Uta” by V.W.P (Muv-Luv Alternative OP) as the opening song.
Noriyasu Agematsu and Yusuke Takeda of Elements Garden (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime soundtrack) are the song’s composer and arranger, respectively, while Hibiki pens the lyrics and Akihiro Tomita produces.

Studio Nue’s Shigeru Morita, who has worked on many sci-fi mecha/robot anime series, such as Mobile Suit Gundam Seed, Code Geass, and Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato, serves as screenplay writer, while each part is being animated by five different up-and-coming anime studios.
The project’s official website describes its concept as: “‘Confrontation and Harmony between Humans and Nature.’ The protagonist will navigate challenges and personal growth, striving to preserve the environment required for our existence, while the presence of robots will be depicted alongside their journey. The title of the anime, ‘未ル (Miru),’ represents the future, and is a verb that reminds us of the way we actively move with our own strength. Even if there are difficulties, we will create a better tomorrow by each person overcoming their challenges”
