Princession Orchestra, the upcoming magical girl anime with a musical motif, has confirmed today that it will be running for four consecutive cours—in other words, a whole year!An exact episode count hasn’t been released for the series, which will premiere as part of the spring anime season. But we do know that it will air on Sundays in Japan and be a mainstay of the next four seasons. In the meantime, the show’s official YouTube account is staying busy with new music, messages from the cast and more.

With an original concept by Akifumi Kaneko (Symphogear) and character designs by Mari Shimazaki (Luck & Logic), Shin Onuma directs Princession Orchestra at studio SILVER LINK. alongside Manta Aisora as series composer, Yukiko Akiyama as animation character designer and Elements Garden as music composer.The story is set in the magical kingdom of Alicepia, a wonderland that has existed since ancient times and that is somehow connected to the Alicepia Channel video sharing website in the human world. When the Alicepians encounter a new threat known as the Jamaock, a trio of “princesses” step up to save the day with the power of music.
