It was a double whammy of Ninja Gaiden goodness during today’s Xbox Developer Direct showcase. Ninja Gaiden 4 is officially in the works at Team NINJA and PlatinumGames, and the oft-requested Ninja Gaiden 2 Black—which remakes Ninja Gaiden 2 in Unreal Engine 5—is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.Ninja Gaiden 4 continues Ryu Hayabusa’s gore-covered journey on PS5, Xbox Series and PC sometime this fall, and will also be available through Game Pass.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black is priced at $49.99 and is also available through Game Pass. For those who played Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Rachel, Moiji and Ayane are playable in this version, as well. There’s also the HERO PLAY STYLE that makes the difficult action game more accessible for new players.
