Nmeneko, a social media mascot character created by Shirimoto, is getting their own short form anime that will broadcast in Japan on the Tokyo Broadcasting System beginning in April 2025. Tommy Hino (Tadaima! Chibi Godzilla) directs the series at animation studio Kumarba, while Hideaki Shirasaki (episode writer for Ya Boy Kongming!) writes the scripts and provides the series composition.

The story of the series follows Nmeneko, a cat who wants to spend her days in a carefree manner eating delicious food and doing only fun activities, and Usukuro, her somewhat more responsible and levelheaded companion.
