The quant city of Maebashi in Gunma is soon going to have a magical wake-up call in the upcoming original TV anime Maebashi Witches. The series is based around “local” witches who are just looking to have fun as they grow up. The series released a brand new trailer tonight and a vivid key visual featuring the witches in a colorful flower shop.

Junichi Yamamoto (More than a Married Couple, but Not Lovers.) directs Maebashi Witches at Bandai Namco Filmworks’ in-house production studio SUNRISE, with series composition written by Erika Yoshida (BOCCHI THE ROCK!), Yu Inami’s original character designs adapted for animation by Nozomi Tachibana (Kemono Jihen) and music composed by Yuri Habuka. The series is set to premiere in April 2025.
