Sanrio has just kicked off its latest collab, mashing up their classic characters and adorable art style with another beloved series. This time, the original Yu-Gi-Oh! gets the chibi treatment, with Hello Kitty and her friends stepping into the role of the series’s iconic monsters.Yami, Yugi, Kaiba and the rest get brand new character designs in the soft Sanrio style. Meanwhile, ten of Sanrio’s most popular characters are reimagined as powerful cards—including Cinnamoroll as Blue Eyes White Dragon.The character designs will appear on a variety of goods, from acrylic stands to hologram buttons, keychains and more.
The goods go on sale today at the Sanrio Anime Store Ikebukuro P’PARCO branch in Tokyo. Goods are also available online at the Sanrio Anime Store and the Kaiba Corporation Store. Each venue will have different goods and designs available.
