Wonderful Precure! has finished its run and the baton has been passed to the next generation. To celebrate incoming 22nd Precure series You and Idol Precure♪, the long-running magical girl series has released a lyric video of the new show’s debut single, as well as two new cast members!Joining the cast will be Yoshino Nanjo (Eli Ayase in Love Live! School Idol Project) as Purirun and Miharu Hanai (Kokoa in Acro Trip) as Meroron: the new team’s companion fairies. The easygoing Purirun and the mischievous Meroron originally come from Kirakira Land, and have come to our world to seek out the idols known as Precure.

We also get a taste of the first original single from the new Precure team in the form of a lyric video. Titled “Egao no Unison♪,” the song is performed by Misato Matsuoka as Cure Idol. The song was composed by composer Misaki Umase and lyricist Saori Codama.
The You and Idol Precure♪ debut single will be released in Japan on February 26, containing each new Cure’s solo stage song:
“Egao no Unison♪” (Cure Idol)
“Mabatachi no Gosenfu” (Cure Wink)
“KOKORO REVOLUTION” (Cure Kyunkyun)
