ME & ROBOCO Anime Film Goes Off the Grid in The Wild Robot Collab Visual

ME & ROBOCO's pattern of imitating covers and posters isn't restricted to just anime and manga. Set to release in Japanese theaters on February 7, DreamWorks' latest animated feature film, The Wild Robot, linked up with Roboco for an all-natural collab visual ahead of her own anime film release on April 18. Based on the manga by Shuhei Miyazaki, Akitaro Daichi (Detective Conan: The Culprit Hanzawa) continues to direct ME & ROBOCO at Studio Gallop for the film.

ME & ROBOCO‘s pattern of imitating covers and posters isn’t restricted to just anime and manga. Set to release in Japanese theaters on February 7, DreamWorks’ latest animated feature film, The Wild Robot, linked up with Roboco for an all-natural collab visual ahead of her own anime film release on April 18.

Based on the manga by Shuhei Miyazaki, Akitaro Daichi (Detective Conan: The Culprit Hanzawa) continues to direct ME & ROBOCO at Studio Gallop for the film. The 2022 series, which Crunchyroll currently streams, features scripts by Sayuri Oba, character designs by Yuko Ebara and music by Jun Abe and Seiji Muto.

Synopsis:

Ten-year-old Bondo has always dreamt of owning a cute robot maid. They’re beautiful, sweet, and graceful servants. But when he finally gets his hands on one, she’s not what he expected. Roboco is twice the size of other maids, twice as strong, and twice as weird! Something’s off about this robot. Can Bondo and his friends figure out her secret?
