Originally scheduled to be released in July 2023 but postponed due to “various reasons”, the New Saga TV anime is back on track with a new release date, a new trailer, new key art, and five new cast additions. The series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan on TOKYO MX and Asahi Broadcasting Corporation beginning in July 2025.

The original New Saga light novels are written by Masayuki Abe, illustrated by Ryuta Fuse, and published in Japan by AlphaPolis. Alpha Manga also publishes an English language version of the manga adaptation with artwork by Jun Miura. Naoki Mizusawa directs the TV anime at animation studios Sotsu and Studio Clutch with animation production assistance by STUDIO MASSKET. Naoki Horiuchi serves as series director, Kenta Ihara provides the series composition and Shacho (of SOUL&”PIMP”SESSIONS) and Hironori “Guts” Anzawa provide the music.
