The official website for HANA Doll* -Reinterpretation of Flowering-, an upcoming TV anime series from MOVIC’s male idol-themed multimedia project HANA Doll*, released a teaser trailer today announcing a Japanese premiere date of April 9, 2025. The clip also features the TV anime’s opening theme song “Clockwork Flowers” performed by the project’s main idol unit, Anthos＊.

The CD single of the opening theme song “Clockwork Flowers” is set to release in Japan on April 11, 2025. Prior to the CD release, the anime-size version of the song is now available on digital platforms for streaming and download.

Meanwhile, the CD single of the ending theme song “Fall leaves after leaves fall” is set to release on May 16, 2025. The song’s anime-size version is also available on digital platforms.

The project’s main characters are boys who belong to the fictional entertainment agency “Amagiri Productions” and work as idols. MOVIC has released CD albums of each idol unit. The TV anime project was announced back in June 2023.The TV anime’s synopsis reads:
Boys auditioning for the “Hana Doll Project.” They all came with dark pasts in mind. They were not the only ones with secrets. The production company that sponsored ask them one condition for passing the audition; In order to “blossom” as perfect idols, the boys have to sign a contract that they will undergo an operation to implant a special “seed” in their bodies in exchange for their lives. There is no one who refuses. “No matter what the cost, I will make my dream come true.” Will their determination blossom?
