Many an afternoon were spent in the 1990s playing Ridge Racer in arcades across the world, so when the game came to home consoles in 2000, quarters were saved! Nintendo announced today that the roaring Ridge Racer 64 has launched on the Nintendo Switch Online service in the Nintendo 64 app. A new trailer for the game was released, showing how the game looks on the Switch.

The Nintendo Switch Online classic libraries are available for free to subscribers of the Nintendo Switch Online service with all the classic consoles, barring Nintendo 64, SEGA Genesis and Game Boy Advance, available with the basic tier and the others unlocked in the Expansion Pack. Nintendo confirmed that the current library of Nintendo Switch Online titles will be available on the Nintendo Switch 2 when it launches later this year.
