For the second year in a row, the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise has had a presence at the annual Sapporo Snow Festival. This year, its contribution continues the franchise’s 45th anniversary celebration, uniting the first and latest series in one sculpture.The five-meter-high snow sculpture depicts the heads of the RX-78-2 (Amuro Ray’s Gundam from the original series) and the gMS-Ω GQuuuuuuX (Machu’s unit from the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX).
