Heroes of a feather stick together! Ahead of the film’s worldwide theatrical release next week, Captain America: Brave New World called up My Hero Academia‘s winged hero Hawks for a skyward collaborative visual and accompanying video.
The visual’s taglines read, “Determination makes heroes stronger” in the center, “Fly with conviction” on the left and “Inherit the symbol and fly” on the right, while the video is narrated by Yuichi Nakamura, the voice of Hawks and Japanese-dubbed voice for Steve Rogers.
My Hero Academia previously collaborated with Marvel Studios in 2018 to promote Avengers: Infinity War, and with Marvel Comics last December.
The My Hero Academia manga began in Weekly Shonen Jump on July 7, 2014, and ran for over a decade before concluding on August 5, 2024. The series has spawned seven complete TV anime seasons, three spin-off manga series, four anime original films and four video games. A final season is currently slated for release in Autumn 2025.
Seven seasons of the My Hero Academia TV anime are streaming on Crunchyroll, alongside the My Hero Academia: Two Heroes and My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising anime films and a collection of specials. Crunchyroll describes the series as such:
Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life—a lofty goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers. That’s right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered “quirk,” Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that’s not enough to stop him from enrolling in one of the world’s most prestigious hero academies.
