On the topic of the new entry, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Capcom shared a message from director Satoru Nihei and producer Akihito Kadowaki.
Onimusha 2 first launched on PlayStation 2 back in 2002, this time pitting new protagonist Jubei Yagyu against the demonic army of Nobunaga Oda. Jubei was modeled after real-life actor Yusaku Matsuda, known for TV series and action films, including 1978’s The Most Dangerous Game and 1979’s The Resurrection of Golden Wolf, among many others.
