The MF GHOST manga is nearing the finish line! After a run of about seven and a half years, Shuichi Shigeno’s successor to Initial D has just three chapters left to go. The announcement was made in this year’s 10th issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine. The series has been running in the pages of Weekly Young Magazine since 2017, and its final chapter will be published in this year’s 12th issue, which hits stands in Japan on February 17.
Kodansha USA publishes the manga in English and Crunchyroll is simulcasting the series, describing the story like so:
Japan adopts self-driving electric automobiles and renders most gas engines obsolete by 202X. The fastest cars find new life in the MFG, a racing circuit held on Japanese motorways. Drivers from around the world race for a shot at the title. Kanata Rivington returns from Britain to Japan for the MFG—and to find his father. Can he win the title and find answers? Buckle up and push it to the limit!
