On February 1, one day before the TV premiere in Japan, the three Precure idols from the 22nd Precure TV series, You and Idol Precure ♪, held their first live event at Yokohama Landmark Tower’s Sakana no Tane Garden Square in Kanagawa Prefecture. Cure Idol, Cure Wink, and Cure Kyunkyun, appeared on the stage together for the first time, along with the three theme song singers — Ami Ishii, Chihaya Yoshitake , and Akane Kumada. They performed the opening and ending theme songs of the anime and the solo songs of each Precure idols to a full house of fans. The event is also planned to be held in Nagoya on February 16 and in Osaka on March 15.The Precure franchise’s official YouTube channel is now streaming the event for a limited-time of two weeks until February 14.
Additionally, the channel is now streaming a dance lesson video of Cure Idol’s solo song “Egao no Unison♪ – Precure! Idol Smiling!” In the video, none other than Cure Idol gives a lecture on the choreography of the song.
Following Wonderful Precure!, as the 22th installment in Toei Animation’s long-running Precure TV anime franchise, You and Idol Precure♪ premiered in Japan on February 2, 2025. The first episode “Cure Idol Debuts!” is now available for Crunchyroll Premium members in North America, Central America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa.
