As the fourth performer of the cover song project CrosSing‘s ongoing 11th season, voice actor Emi Nitta sang “Snow halation,” an insert song for the Love Live! School Idol Project TV anime series. The song was used in the ninth episode of the TV anime second season, “Melody of the Heart.”Nitta voiced one of the anime’s main characters, Honoka Kosaka, and “Snow halation” was released in December 2010 as the second CD single of the anime’s voice actor unit, μ’s, of which she was also a member. Although it was not a big hit when it was first released, the song has been considered as one of the representative songs of μ’s and has been often performed at their live events.

CrosSing is a cover song project that delivers singing voices of performers who are active in various fields, such as voice actors, anisong singers, virtual YouTubes and 2.5 dimensional actors. It was launched by Pony Canyon in March 2022.The 11th season performers have also included Minami Takahashi (Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid opening theme “Aozora no Rhapsody”), Satomi Akesaka (Reborn! opening theme “Drawing days”), and Saki Fujita (Hatsune Miku song “Shiroi Yuki no Princess wa”).
