As announced late last year, the 2018 anime adaptation of Grand Blue Dreaming will be returning for a second season! While an official release date announcement is still on the horizon, we do have news about three new cast members joining the team for the upcoming season.The new cast members were revealed on today’s Grand Blue Friday Radio broadcast, and include:
Sakurako Busujima voiced by Aya Yamane (Secelia Dote in Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury)
Shiori Kitahara voiced by Sumire Morohoshi (Juliette in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation)
Naomi Otoya voiced by Yoshino Aoyama (Yoshino Nanase in Wake Up, Girls!)

Shinji Takamatsu (Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto) returns to direct the second season of Grand Blue Dreaming at studios Zero-G and Liber, with character designs and chief animation direction by Hideoki Kusama and music by Yukari Hashimoto (Senpai is an Otokonoko). The series is based on the manga by Kenji Inoue and Kimitake Yoshioka.Kodansha USA publishes the manga’s official English version and describes the story:
