An official X (formerly Twitter) account for an A Star Brighter than the Sun TV anime was launched tonight, revealing not only the anime adaptation of Kazune Kawahara’s Anan Manga Award-winning series but also the fact that the anime will premiere in 2025! Kawahara (who is also known for MY Love STORY!!) released a commemorative illustration of Sae and Koki as children and teens to celebrate.

Kazune Kawahara’s A Star Brighter than the Sun manga is currently serialized in Bessatsu Margaret, with ten collected volumes released in Japan. VIZ Media is set to release the first volume in English on March 4, describing the romance series as such:
