Following the anime’s delay from its original June 2024 release date, a brand-new trailer for Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho today confirmed that a one-hour premiere will kick off a continuous half-year broadcast on March 31, 2025 at 21:30 JST. The historical action series’ ending song, “Senyaichiya (“One Thousand and One Nights”) feat. Izumi Nakasone” by Hilcrhyme, is also previewed.

Based on the novels by Motoo Nakanishi, Kazuya Aiura (7SEEDS assistant director) directs Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho at studio Yokohama Animation Lab, with series composition by Deko Akao (Ragna Crimson), character designs by Taro Ikegami (Legend of Mana -The Teardrop Crystal-) and music by Ryuichi Takada, Keiichi Hirokawa, and Kuniyuki Takahashi.
