A premiere date has been revealed for the fourth (of six) Princess Principal: Crown Handler anime films. The next entry is officially set to open in Japan on May 23, 2025, and you can see more of what’s coming next in a new trailer and key visual below.

Prior to this, the third entry in the theatrical series premiered in April 2023. Masaki Tachibana directs, with Noboru Kimura on scripts and Yukie Akiya adapting Kohaku Kuroboshi’s character designs for the Actas production.The original Princess Principal TV series co-produced by Studio 3Hz and Actas aired for 12 episodes from July to September 2016. The six-chapter sequel film project was announced in April 2018. Its first chapter was released in Japan on February 11, 2021, earning the then-equivalent of US$808,655 from its run.
