The official YouTube channel for singer-songwriter Vaundy has started streaming a music video for his latest 29th digital single song “RUN SAKAMOTO RUN.” The rock tune is now featured as the opening theme for the Sakamoto Days TV anime, and the video consists of footage from the anime.

“RUN SAKAMOTO RUN” released digitally on January 12, peaking at #5 in Oricon’s weekly digital single charts in its second week. Additionally, “Somebody help us,” a new song written and composed by Vaundy as a special ending theme to the anime’s seventh episode, also released digitally on February 16. A CD single including both “RUN SAKAMOTO RUN” and “Somebody help us” is set to release on March 5, 2025.

Shueisha publishes the original Sakamoto Days manga by Yuto Suzuki in their Weekly Shonen Jump manga magazine.
