Based on the light novels by Nana Nanana and Parum, Yohei Suzuki (Sugar Apple Fairy Tale) directs the Danjo no Yujo wa Seiritsu Suru? (Iya, Shinai!!) anime at studio J.C.STAFF, with series composition by Nozu Yaemori and character designs by Natsuki Oyama.The story follows shy plant-loving boy Yu and cheerful girl Himari as they become lifelong friends in a small town. Himari even promises to marry Yu if he can’t find a wife by the time he’s 30. Now best friends in their high school’s gardening club, their relationship begins to change when Yu reconnects with his first crush.
