It’s time for Rock is a Lady’s Modesty to face the music… twice! Ahead of an April 2025 release, the upcoming music drama anime today unveiled its first ‘character gap visual’ and character trailer, depicting both genres of protagonist Lilisa Suzunomiya.
Furthermore, an advance screening and talk show event will be held on March 16 at Shinjuku Piccadilly in Tokyo with main voice actors Akira Sekine (Lilisa) and Miyuri Shimabukuro (Otoha) in attendance.

Based on the manga by Mushibugyo creator Hiroshi Fukuda, Shinya Watada (THE IDOLM@STER Million Live!) directs Rock is a Lady’s Modesty at studio BN Pictures, with series composition by Shogo Yasukawa (Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included) and character designs by Risa Miyadani (Aikatsu Planet!).
The story of Rock is a Lady’s Modesty follows Lilisa Suzunomiya, a young girl who’s forced to give up playing guitar when she’s thrust into a rich lifestyle after her mother remarries a real estate tycoon. However, when she meets a skilled drummer at her new prestigious school, her passion for rock reignites and the pair form a band.
