Detectives These Days Are Crazy!, an upcoming TV anime base on the comedy mystery manga, has added a new member to its cast. In the series, voice actor Chado Horii will play Cerberus, a stray cat Nagumo and Mashiro adopted while they were searching for a different missing pet. Additionally, a 30-minute “endurance video” of Cerberus’s awful caterwauling (below) has also been published to promote the series, which will broadcast in Japan in 2025.

ASCII Media Works publishes the original Detectives These Days Are Crazy! manga by Masakuni Igarashi in their Dengeki Maoh seinen manga magazine. One Peace Books is also producing an English language version with the first volume due out in April 2025. Rion Kujo directs the TV anime adaptation. At the time of this writing, the rest of the staff for the anime adaptation have not yet been revealed.
