The official website for the Black Butler anime series today confirmed that boy group RYUGUJO will make their anime debut with “WALTZ” for the ending song of Black Butler -Emerald Witch Arc-, which is scheduled to premiere in April 2025.
It was revealed in January that two-member rock band Cö shu Nie, best known for performing Tokyo Ghoul:re‘s first opening song, will perform “MAISIE” for the opening song.
Kenjiro Okada (March comes in like a lion chief director) continues to direct the latest Black Butler anime at studio CloverWorks, with series composition by Hiroyuki Yoshino (World Trigger), character designs by Yumi Shimizu (Horimiya chief animation director). Maaya Sakamoto and Daisuke Ono reprise their roles as Ciel Phantomhive and Sebastian Michaelis, respectively.
