Aniplex’s previously teased “New Anime Announcement” video today revealed, with footage, that a series adaptation of slice-of-life adventure manga Touring After the Apocalypse is in the works at studio Nexus (The Eminence in Shadow) for a planned 2025 release.
Konomi Inagaki (Idora in The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World) and Miyu Tomita (Kiui in Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night) star as Yoko and Airi, respectively, with the pair featuring in a promotional photoshoot together as part of the announcement. Inagaki and Tomita will also appear at the Aniplex booth at AnimeJapan 2025 for a stage event.

The Touring After the Apocalpyse manga is written and illustrated by Sakae Saito (Super Cub Rei spin-off) and has been serialized in Dengeki Maoh magazine since September 2020, with six collected volumes released to date. Yen Press publishes an official English version and describes the story:
