The official YouTube channel for anisong singer Asaka posted a music video for her latest 16th CD single song “GIVE & TAKE,” which released in Japan today on February 26. The title tune is now featured as the opening theme for the winter 2025 TV anime The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World.

Asaka made her debut as a professional singer in October 2016, when she was in the second year of high school (age 17). Since then, she has sung various anime and game theme songs, relasing 16 CD singles, three full original albums, and one mini-album to date. She herself wrote the lyrics of “GIVE & TAKE,” while Chiyomaru Shikura, who has collaborated with her since her debut single “Open Your Eyes” (Occultic;Nine ending theme) in 2016, worked on music.

The TV anime adaptation of Hifumi Asakura’s fantasy light novel series The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World premiered in Japan on January 9, 2025.
