Sometimes going through life again isn’t that bad, especially when you have all your past memories! The anime adaptation of TurtleMe’s web novel series The Beginning After the End got a sparkling new trailer today revealing an April 2 premiere date, the opening theme song “KINGSBLOOD” performed by Kala and more cast members.

Keitaro Motonaga (The Kingdoms of Ruin) directs The Beginning After the End at studio A-CAT, with series composition by Takamitsu Kono (A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special), character designs by Masami Sueoka (The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord’s Army was a Human) and music by Keiji Inai (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?).
Crunchyroll is slated to simulcast the series and describes the story as such:
After a mysterious death, King Grey is reborn as Arthur Leywin on the magical continent of Dicathen. Although he enters his second life as a baby, his previous wisdom remains. He begins to master magic and forge his own path as the years go by, seeking to correct the mistakes of his past life.
