The Law of Ueki creator Tsubasa Fukuchi recently launched a new manga titled Parashoppers, and now it’s officially live in English. VIZ Media announced the license of the series, kicking off a simulpub and making the first seven chapters available to read immediately.
The series first kicked off in the pages of Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine on January 22. You can read all but one of the seven available chapters for free via VIZ’s website and the VIZ Manga app.
Here’s how VIZ Media describes the series:
A high schooler battles for his life using superpowers he buys and sells on a mysterious app!
Fukuchi’s original The Law of Ueki manga ran from 2001 to 2004 in Weekly Shonen Sunday. It inspired a 2005-2007 sequel and a recent new chapter, as well as a 2005 TV anime adaptation.
Prior to Parashoppers, Fukuchi serialized the Golden Spiral manga in the same magazine from April 2022 to September 2023.
