Ahead of an April 6 broadcast in Japan, the first trailer released today for Kakushite! Makina-san!! (Makina-san’s a Love Bot?!) previews the ecchi comedy anime’s cast, along with the opening and ending songs: “Ie de Yeah! tte Agetai ga” by Serena Kozuki and “Android ni Kubittake” by Brave Mental Orchestra, respectively.

Based on the manga by Yoshimi Sato, Masayoshi Nishida (Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again) directs the Kakushite! Makina-san!! anime at studio BloomZ, with series composition by Yohei Kashii (TenPuru), main character design by Yusaku Nakamura and music by Kyohei Matsuno (Dragon Goes House-Hunting). Studio Wolfsbane is co-producing the animation.
The story of Kakushite! Makina-san!! follows Eita, a reclusive mecha nerd whose life changes gear when he finds the most popular girl in school, Makina, on his doorstep and in need of…fixing? Despite his timid nature, he keeps her identity as a high-spec android designed for pleasure a secret when she needs troubleshooting.
