White Day and Valentine’s Day go together like… well, honey and lemon in soda! So, naturally, the Honey Lemon Soda anime got in on the action today by unveiling a special White Day visual that backs up its earlier Valentine’s Day visual.

Based on the manga by Mayu Murata, Hiroshi Nishikiori (A Certain Magical Index, Azumanga Daioh) directs Honey Lemon Soda at studio J.C.STAFF, with series composition by Akiko Waba, character designs by Manami Tanaka and music by Akira Kosemura (Blue Orchestra).

After middle school, with its bullying and nicknames, Uka Ishimori is excited for a fresh start at Hachimitsu High School. Kai Miura, a cool and uninhibited boy, sits next to her in class. Uka remembers she met Kai in middle school and with a single word, he had convinced her to attend Hachimitsu. Though he’s popular, Kai supports Uka in her efforts to fit in with her new classmates.
