Fantasy light novel and manga Scum of the Brave is being adapted into a newly announced TV anime with animation production by animation studio OLM (The Apothecary Diaries). The series will broadcast in Japan on the Nippon Television network.
A teaser trailer and art as well as an official website have been published for the series. At the time of this reporting, no additional details (such as the main staff, the cast and the release date) have yet been revealed.

Originally a web novel serialized on Kadokawa’s Kakuyomu platform, the Scum of the Brave light novel is written by Rocket Shoukai, illustrated Yuya Kusaka and published by Fujimi Shobo under their Kadokawa Books imprint. A manga adaptation with artwork by Nakashima723 is published in Japan by Leed Publishing in their Comic Border manga magazine, and an English language version is also available from Manga Planet, who describe the story as follows:
