Ahead of the slice-of-life anime’s broadcast sometime this year, See You Tomorrow at the Food Court today added Saori Hayami and Jun Fukuyama to its tray of cast members as Saito, Wada’s classmate who takes her time putting on makeup, and Duke Abel, a quirky character from Wada’s social game of choice, respectively.
The series stars Yoshino Aoyama as Yamamoto and Hiyori Miyazaki as Wada.

Based on the manga by Shinichiro Nariie, Kazuomi Koga (Rent-a-Girlfriend) directs the See You Tomorrow at the Food Court anime at studio Atelier Pontdarc, with series composition by Jukki Hanada (The Dangers in My Heart), character designs and chief animation direction by Kyuta Sakai (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) and music by Kana Utatane (Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!).
Yen Press publishes an official English version of the original manga and describes the story:
To their classmates, Wada is a quiet rich girl while Yamamoto is an intimidating lone wolf…but what they don’t know is that Wada is a mobile game addict in a passionate love-hate relationship (with a 2D character) and Yamamoto has a penchant for urban legends with eyes only for her favorite YouTuber. And their biggest not-so-secret secret—these unlikely friends meet at the food court every day after school to rant, rave, and learn what makes each other tick!
