Your helping of a new fantasy cooking series will be served up this July as the Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant! anime revealed its premiere month today, along with a side of a teaser trailer, the voice cast for Dennis and Atelier and the main staff members who will be cooking up the adaptation of Yuki Kimikawa’s light novel series.

Joji Shimura (Animal Crossing: The Movie) directs Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant! at OLM Team Yoshioka with Deko Akao (Komi Can’t Communicate) on series composition, Aoi Yamato (Life with an Ordinary Guy who Reincarnated into a Total Fantasy Knockout) on character designs and Masato Koda (Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill) composing music.
The series was first serialized on the Japanese self-publishing site Shosetsuka ni Naro by Yuki Kimikawa in 2018 before being picked up for print in 2019 with illustrations by Gaou. It was then adapted into an ongoing manga in 2020 from Tsumumi. As of December 2024, the series boasts 850,000 copies in circulation.
