At the same time as the stage event at AnimeJapan 2025 today, the official X (formerly Twitter) for the upcoming TV anime The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses announced that the anime is set to premiere in July 2025.
The original manga series created by created by Norishiro-chan (story) and Yukiji Setsuda (arts) has been serialized in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion magazine since October 2022, releasing ten tankobon volumes to date.
Noriaki Akitaya (Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon) directs The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses at studio CONNECT, with series composition by Michiko Yokote (Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill), character designs by Takao Sano (Restaurant to Another World) and music by Shun Narita (The Unwanted Undead Adventurer).
