The next arc of Pokémon Horizons is already making waves with its decision to employ a time skip — the first in Pokémon anime history! More news for the upcoming series was revealed today as musical duo Yuzu will perform the new opening theme “GET BACK.”
The group, consisting of Yujin Kitagawa and Kouji Iwasawa, performed theme songs for several other anime TV series and films, including Hunter x Hunter, Doraemon and Crayon Shin-chan. “GET BACK” marks two big returns for the group: The first time the duo has collaborated on lyrics in five years and their first anime theme song since 2018!
TeddyLoid also works on the production of the theme song under the concept “Yuzu’s anime theme songs of the Reiwa era.”
