BEYBLADE Day brought with it some big plans to let it rip throughout the rest of the calendar year. Details have been unveiled for the BEYBLADE X World Championship 2025, which kicks off globally this April and builds to a final championship tournament in Tokyo in October.
This year’s tournament will have winners of regional tournaments around the world competing against one another. There will be two categories in the World Championship: Regular Class that typically includes ages eight to 12 and an Open Class for ages 13 and up. Age regulations vary from region to region, with Japan and some parts of Asia allowing for a minimum age of seven. Other regions may allow participants as young as six for Regular Class.
The final showdown in Tokyo will take place at the Tokyo Tower over two days from October 11-12.
Today marks the start of the Amazon-hosted U.S. BEYBLADE Tournaments, which will run for four weeks. While you don’t need to own a Beyblade to participate, those who do will be able to scan their tops in the app to win in-app prizes and improve their odds in battle.

Beyond all the tournament excitement, Hasbro launched pre-orders for new BEYBLADE X Tops, including the first in the CX line. Among the new items are the Beyblade X Courage Dran S 6-60V CX Starter Pack Set, Beyblade X Reaper Incendio T 4-70K CX Starter Pack Set, Beyblade X Arc Wizard R 4-55LO CX Starter Pack Set and Beyblade X Dark Perseus B 6-80W CX Starter Pack Set, all of which are available at Amazon.
The BEYBLADE X anime is currently airing on Disney XD and streaming via Hulu and Netflix. It will also be available on Disney+ for the first time.
