The Apothecary Diaries anime series released new information today on its upcoming second cour of Season 2 with a new trailer, piece of key art and opening/ending theme song information. Mrs. GREEN APPLE was confirmed to perform the new opening theme “Kusushiki,” alongside Omoinotoke performing the new ending theme “Hitorigoto.” The second cour will officially begin on April 4. The series previously announced it would air for a continuous two cour run.

The original Apothecary Diaries light novels are written by Natsu Hyuuga, illustrated by Touko Shino, and published in Japan by Shufunotomo under their Hero Bunko imprint. J-Novel Club publishes an English language version in digital form, while Square Enix publishes an English language version in print.
Norihiro Naganuma serves as chief director and provides the series composition for the TV anime, while Akinori Fudesaka serves as director at TOHO animation STUDIO and OLM.
