Kyoto Animation’s double-header stage event at AnimeJapan 2025 today unveiled the first full trailer for CITY THE ANIMATION, which adapts the follow-up work of Nichijou – My Ordinary Life creator Keiichi Arawi, and announced a July 6 at 24:00 JST (effectively July 7 at 0:00) premiere date for Japanese television. Advance screenings of the first three episodes will be held from late May to mid-June in multiple cities.
Furui Riho performs “Hello” for the anime’s opening song and TOMOO performs “Lucky” for the ending song. Seven additional cast members for the Adatara family were also confirmed, as follows:
