Ruri Rocks, an upcoming TV anime that is also known as Ruri no Houseki in Japan, has published a new piece of key art for the series featuring the main characters enjoying their study of minerals. Based on the mineralogy-themed seinen manga, the series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan in 2025.

Kadokawa has serialized the original Ruri Rocks by Keiichirou Shibuya since 2019 in their Harta seinen manga magazine. Shingo Fuji directs the TV anime at Studio Bind. Michiko Yokote provides the series composition, Mayu Fujii provides the character designs and Daisuke Achiwa and Kazuki Yanagawa provide the music.
The story of the series follows Ruri, a high school girl who loves jewelry, who develops an interest in the world of mineral collecting after encountering Nagi, a graduate student studying mineralogy.
