The upcoming TV anime adaptation of Aya Hirakawa’s romantic comedy manga Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi revealed the series’ first trailer at the Aniplex stage event during AnineJapan 2025 today. The new trailer announces the anime is set to premiere in July 2025.

The Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi manga is serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine since December 2021, releasing 13 tankobon volumes in Japan to date.
Tadahito Matsubayashi will direct the anime at P.A.WORKS, with Takayo Ikami on series composition, Yusuke Inoue on character designs, Tsukasa Miyazaki as main animator and Masaru Yokoyama on music. The anime’s main voice cast members include:
Yuu Ayase voiced by Minami Hinata (Luminaria in She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man)
Kazuki Mikadono voiced by Yurina Amami (Haruka Akane in Sorairo Utility)
Niko Mikadono voiced by Aoi Koga (Kaguya Shinomiya in Kaguya-sama: Love is War)
Miwa Mikadono voiced by Yoshino Aoyama (Hitori Goto in BOCCHI THE ROCK!)
The series follows Yu Ayase who the Mikadono family takes in after the death of his mother, a popular actor. Already struggling with living up to his mother’s legacy, now Ayase is surrounded by three prodigy sisters: actor Kazuki, martial artist Nico and Shogi player Miwa. The three girls start to develop feelings for Ayase and hijinks ensues.
