Shinya Misu’s romantic comedy manga Osananajimi to wa LoveCome ni Naranai (literally translated to “It’s not possible to be a romantic comedy with a childhood friend”) will receive a TV anime adaptation in 2026. Tezuka Productions (Girlfriend, Girlfriend) will handle anime production.
The anime’s official website opened today, releasing a teaser trailer and visual.

Shinya Misu’s original manga Osananajimi to wa LoveCome ni Naranai has been serialized on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website since March 2022, releasing 14 tankobon volumes to date.
The Magazine Pocket website describes the series as such (translated):
Eeyuu, a high school boy, had a problem! Shio and Akari, his two childhood friends who go to the same high school, are too cute! They have no intentions, but if they find out that he is the only one who looking at them sexually now that they’ve grown up…, it would be so embarrassed!
