Frieren’s Mini Anime “Magic of ??”, a short form web anime spin-off based on Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, is kicking off more streaming shenanigans with the publication of new episodes beginning with Episode 12, entitled “Magic to Increase Height”.
New episodes will be published to YouTube, TikTok and X (formerly Twitter) on the first Wednesday of each month from now until September 2025. The series focuses on the trivial magic and spells for everyday life that Frieren collects on her journeys, which may or may not be useful.
Frieren’s Mini Anime “Magic of ??” Episode 12
Based on the manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, Keiichiro Saito directs Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End at animation studio MADHOUSE. Crunchyroll currently streams the first season of the series, and the second season will begin broadcasting in Japan in January 2026. VIZ Media also publishes an English language version of the original manga.
