It’s unsurprising that Bkub Okawa’s Pop Team Epic got in on this year’s April Fools’ antics, teasing a nonexistent crossover with mecha anime series Code Geass. What’s also not surprising is that this joke has become reality!
Starting today, Pop Team Geass goods will be available as part of an online lottery. To celebrate the campaign, a new video has launched, bringing the two worlds together. Jun Fukuyama and Takahiro Sakurai reprise their roles as Lelouch and Suzaku, while also appearing as Pipimi and Popuko respectively:
The lottery kicks off today on the Kujicliffe website and offers a variety of exclusive goods. Each entry is 880 yen:
Goods up for grabs include cushions, standees, keyrings and pins. Prefer to purchase exactly what you want? A pop-up shop will carry these goods at a later date.
The Pop Team Geass collab will run until May 12.
