The official website for the TV anime adaptation of the Grand Blue Dreaming manga series created by Kenji Inoue (story) and Kimitake Yoshioka (arts) released a new trailer for its upcoming second season, featuring the ending theme song “Hadaka de Dotsukiai feat. May’n.” The title literally means “Naked fistfight.”

Japanese hip hop recording artist SEAMO produced the ending song, while May’n, best known as the singing voice of Sheryl Nome in the Macross Frontier anime series, serves as the lead singer. “This year is a special year for me as it is the 20th anniversary of my debut, and I am so happy and excited to have been invited by SEAMO-san who once participated in my work at the time of my debut, to work with me for the first time in a long time!” said May’n. ” Grand Blue and SEAMO are such a great tag team! Straightforward, fun, and liberating, this is a must-listen party tune this summer!”
Following the first season in 2018, the much-awaited second season of the TV anime Grand Blue Dreaming is set to premiere on July 7, 2025. Shonan no Kaze, who provided the first season’s “Grand Blue,” will return to perform the opening theme song for the second season, “Seishun Toha,” featuring ATARASHII GAKKO!
Shinji Takamatsu (Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto) returns to direct the second season at studios Zero-G and Liber, with character designs and chief animation direction by Hideoki Kusama and music by Yukari Hashimoto (Senpai is an Otokonoko).
