Japanese singer Aoi Teshima’s official YouTube channel has started streaming a lyric video for her latest digital single song “Hanasaku Michi de” (“On the road of blooming flowers”), which is now featured as the ending theme for the spring 2025 TV anime Once Upon a Witch’s Death. The lyrical tune was written, composed, arranged by Yuki Kajiura.

Among anime fans, Teshima is best known for her insert and theme song works for two Studio Ghibli films — Tales from Earthsea in 2006 and From Up On Poppy Hill in 2011. She also voiced the main heroine Therru in the former.

The TV anime adaptation of Saka’s fantasy light novel series Once Upon a Witch’s Death premiered in Japan on April 1, 2025. Crunchyroll is streaming the series for members worldwide excluding Japan and China.
