The official website and accounts for the To Your Eternity anime revealed today that the previously announced third season is scheduled to premiere in October 2025, alongside the release of a teaser visual. Further cast and staff information was not revealed at the time of reporting.
Crunchyroll is also announcing today that the new season will stream on the service when it premieres in the upcoming fall anime season.
Yoshitoki Oima began the To Your Eternity manga in November 2016, with 23 volumes released in Japan to date. Kodansha USA releases an English version of the series.
Masahiko Murata directed the first season of the TV anime at studio Brain’s Base, with Shinzo Fujita on series composition and script, Koji Yabuno on character designs and Ryo Kawasaki on music. Kiyoko Sayama then directed the second season at studio Drive, with Fujita, Yabuno and Kawasaki returning for their respective roles. The first season aired from April to August 2021, with the second season airing from October 2022 to March 2023.

In the beginning, an “orb” is cast unto Earth. “It” can do two things: change into the form of the thing that stimulates “it”; and come back to life after death. “It” morphs from orb to rock, then to wolf, and finally to boy, but roams about like a newborn who knows nothing. As a boy, “it” becomes Fushi.
Through encounters with human kindness, Fushi not only gains survival skills, but grows as a “person”. But his journey is darkened by the inexplicable and destructive enemy Nokker, as well as cruel partings with the people he loves.
