The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows, a currently broadcasting TV anime based on the series of fantasy light novels, has published a short voice drama entitled “Carmilla’s Long Night” as well as a new illustration to coincide with it. Crunchyroll currently simulcasts the series as part of the spring 2025 anime simulcast lineup.

The original The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows light novels are written by Sakaku Hishkawa, illustrated by Daburyu and published in Japan by SB Creative under their GA Novel imprint. J-Novel Club also publishes an English language version of the series. Joe Yoshizaki directs the TV anime at animation studio Makaria. Taika Miyagi provides the series composition and Harumi Fuuki provides the music.
